I have a series of project files for use with an older programmer and recently upgrade programmers. Is there a way to convert the older project files to work with the newer programmer?

Please follow these steps:

1) Load project file in older software.
2) Save your buffer data into file.
3) Note down device config settings and edit auto settings.
4) Open Newer software.
5) Load the buffer data which you saved from the older software.
6) Replicate Device config settings and edit auto setting.
7) Save new project file for future use.
